History
Early spring 1976, we began the first planting of French-American hybrid and vinifera wine grapes at Franklin Hill Vineyards. Located on a stately hillside in Lower Mount Bethel Township, overlooking the Delaware River Valley in Pennsylvania, the vines took well to our soils and climate and began to flourish.
Through the Years
Over the years the vineyard had matured and produced many vintage wines. The harvest came and went each year with yet more amazing results. What started as an experiment has flourished into the fruits of many award winning wines.
Present Day
The vineyard at Franklin Hill is now one of the oldest in the state. Virtually all of our experimental vines planted in 1976 are still producing award-winning wines. Creating such a mature vineyard has taken a lot of skill, luck, and passion. To achieve such success in the vineyard business, we consider ourselves lucky.
Tours: We offer tours daily at 12 and 2pm. Don't worry if you can't make one of those tours. Just stop by the Winery any time during our tasting room hours and ask. Our staff will gladly show you around for a spontaneous tour. Groups are also welcome at our Winery. Groups of 10 or more please make an appointment before arriving. We want everyone to enjoy the whole experience we have to offer. 
WiFi: Don't let the dirt driveway and beautiful views fool you, we are a wifi hotspot. Our Bangor tasting room offers free internet to all our guests. Stop by for a relaxing glass of wine on our deck, and check your email if you'd like.
